Golden Orb Weavers Female and Male
Golden Orb Weavers getting close and personal. I noticed these two the day before and got some video of the male repeatedly touching and caressing the female. I thought he was pretty brave as she was just sitting there and he was jumping away everytime she moved. Normally the males take their chance when she has some prey in her mouth. The next day I was surprised to see "another female" on the web which of course was her molt. No doubt she was less aggressive as she was molting so he could take his chance.
