    1. Data on distribution is sparse, but this map does show a specimen found in Colombia:

      Thanks a lot, it would have been a waste to let this one unidentified. It's quite a lot less impressive as a moth though :)

      1. Actually, if you go to the source of the map, it is reported from Ecuador, not Colombia... However, there are other countries between Mexico and Ecuador that are not mentioned so maybe that is the case.
