This 20-50cm plant originates from high altitude mountains like the Alps and the Balkan mountain ranges and normally flower on rocky grounds rich in chalk. The flowers are used by pharmaceuticals to produce medicinal aromatic essential oil called Zdravec oil (of Bulgarian invention).

    My second try at High Dynamic Range, maybe a bit stretched artistically:) What do you think?

    Three RAW shots, +-EV2.0, 100ISO. The mysterious effect is the merging of three photos all slightly different due to the winds gently breeze.

      Nice experiment Ludo! Some honest feedback: I love the parts in focus, their dynamic range really shines. The parts out of focus are interesting as they reveal the movement, but they also make me slightly seasick :) Posted 13 years ago

        Honest feedback appreciated. HDR is really interesting, as effects are not present in any of the pictures, yet created on combining them.
