  1. It looks like another Hypsiboas punctatus youngster to me. They are quite variable in terms of how much orange/red they have on their backs. Posted 8 years ago

  2. That's a great pic Ferdy, I like the colours and the fact the focus is off centre, makes for a more interesting picture in my opinion.

The polka-dot tree frog is a frog species in the family Hylidae found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. In Spanish, it is known as ''rana punteada'' .

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater.. more
