Malachius aeneus - Female

Female Malachius aeneus, one of the few species in the Netherlands that remained in the genus Malachius s.str. after tossing out a lot of subgenera into genera in their own right.
The "Malachiidae" are classified differently by different authors, sometimes as Malachiinae under Melyridae or as a seperate family Malachiidae in the Cleroidea, next to Melyridae.
