
Crinoid Snapping Shrimp - Synalpheus stimpsonii
This Small Crinoid Snapping Shrimp - Synalpheus stimpsonii lives in Crinoids.
They have one claw that is much bigger than the other, and they can use it to 'snap' which can creates a water-jet of sort to stun their prey. It is also possible to 'hear' the 'snapping' when you see them.
This particular Shrimp was carrying eggs.
