Greater_Flamingo There were a flock of around 100. I had to wait for sometime for any one of them to come out for a portrait image. Finally two came out and I had to manage to set my frame in such a way that I can only one in the frame. It would have better if both of them were moving in the same direction, but the other one stopped for a while and had taken a different path. The greater flamingo is the most widespread species of the flamingo family. It is found in parts of Africa, southern Asia, and southern Europe. Some populations are short distance migrants, and sightings north of the breeding range are relatively frequent; however, given the species' popularity in captivity, whether or not these are truly wild individuals is a matter of some debate.
