Black-and-white owl, Santa María, Colombia Pretty happy with this one, given circumstances. We were at a military stop where after being searched, the staff actually helped us to find this owl, together with our guide who used playback. I used the SB-900 flash at almost full strength to cover the big distance. Still blows my mind you can use a 80-400mm zoom lens this way in the pitch black.
