Long White Tails This is an Asian Paradise Flycatcher of the subspecies - Terpsiphone paradisi borneensis, which is recorded from the island of Borneo and north Java.<br />

This is a Male bird, saw him during a night walk, perched on a branch overhanging the trail about 2.5 meters height.<br />

Long White Tails

This is an Asian Paradise Flycatcher of the subspecies - Terpsiphone paradisi borneensis, which is recorded from the island of Borneo and north Java.

This is a Male bird, saw him during a night walk, perched on a branch overhanging the trail about 2.5 meters height.
As it was 'sleeping' I was able to approach for some close-ups and took more pictures of him.

    Malagasy paradise flycatcher, male white morph, Ankarafantsika, Madagascar Finally. We've seen white morphs of flycatchers in Sri Lanka (asian flycatcher) and Madagascar on several occasions but never got a clear shot until this day. Female nesting nearby:<br />
