Hemiphyllodactylus typus
Some species of Gecko unknown to me. Under a log in the Bogor Botanical Garden.
This is one of the slender dwarf-geckos, with adults having a snout-venter lenght (SVL) of usually under 40mm.
Update: Someone on the forum at waarneming.nl came up with the name Indopacific Tree Gecko (Hemiphyllodactylus typus) for this one - based on the 19 year old book "Amphibien und Reptilien Südostasiens" (Manthey & Grossmann, 1997).
Update 2: The taxonomy of the genus is being chalenged, but at least this recent publication on the matter does not directly chalenge ID as H. typus from Java:
Grismer, Larry Lee; Wood, Perry L. Jr.; Anuar, Shahrul; Brown, Last Rafe M. (2013) Integrative taxonomy uncovers high levels of cryptic species diversity in Hemiphyllodactylus Bleeker, 1860 (Squamata: Gekkonidae) and the description of a new species from Peninsular Malaysia. - Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, vol.169(4), pp.849–880.
