Lovers going for a walk
The hand railings of the trails at Mulu National Park can be a good place to look for Phasmids during night walks. I have seen a lot of them on the railings, although most of them are nymphs.
In this picture, a pair of Haaniella echinata was taking a stroll on the railing.

Haaniella echinata is a species of stick insects that throughout northern Borneo is home. It is after Haaniella scabra the representative of the genus Haaniella which inhabits the most elevated habitats in Borneo.
