  1. This one reminds me of this:

    Madagascar Nightjar at day During our trip in Madagascar, several times we heard a distinct animal call that sounds like a pingpong ball dropping, usually around the time the sun was setting. Little did we realize this was the call of the Nightjar, a nocturnal bird. <br />

They are reasonably common in Madagascar, but it is less common to find them sleeping on the forest floor during the day, even less common to find two keeping each other warm. Check out their enormous heads and tiny beaks. Andasibe,Caprimulgus madagascariensis,Madagascar,Madagascar Nightjar

    Different location, but similar looking. Do you know what the difference is between these two species?

The collared nightjar is a species of nightjar in the Caprimulgidae family.
It is endemic to Madagascar.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests .
