Paku langsuyar
A gigantic bird's nest fern growing by the roadside. I have almost forgotten how big these get! "Paku" is the general name for ferns, while langsuyar refers to the local vampire-like ghost of Malay mythology. It is said that the flying langsuyar/langsuir/pontianak likes to rest atop these tree dwelling ferns, preferably on a Ficus tree. Haha!

''Asplenium nidus'' is a species of fern in the family Aspleniaceae, native to tropical southeastern Asia, eastern Australia, Hawaii, Polynesia, Christmas Island, India, and eastern Africa. It is known by the common names bird's-nest fern or simply nest fern.
