Brilliant a great Stick good closeup Albert, the insect book i have does not have any Stick insects in its a dead loss it features insects from the South East region, i managed to get some books on the reptiles of the far east but i have a book on the snakes of the Philipines but mostly drawings and not coloured quite an old book.       Most generic Books on Insects may not features Stick Insects/Phasmids and even if they do, its very basic and will not be helpful with IDs.
      You seems to have a good collection of books :)

Haaniella echinata is a species of stick insects that throughout northern Borneo is home. It is after Haaniella scabra the representative of the genus Haaniella which inhabits the most elevated habitats in Borneo.
