Pale Cup Moth ( Doratifera pinguis) A small cup moth with tented wings and a thick mane of setae covering its head and thorax. Wings showed bands of smudged dark brown and pale brown patterns with highlighted veins. Wing span would have been about 30 mm.<br />

''Doratifera pinguis'', sometimes referred to as the Painted Cup Moth, although this name is usually applied to ''Doratifera oxleyi'', is a moth of the Limacodidae family. It is found over the whole eastern seaboard of Australia.
