I ♥ Sardines!
This is a big shoal of Sardines found in Moal-Boal. They are not always there but when they are there, they could stay for months or years and may disappears completely for a period of time.
There are millions of them and they create an amazing sight with their movements as they avoid bubbles or predator fishes hunting among them.
Am not definitely sure, but this shoal of Sardines could be Sardinella lemuru (Bali sardinella). They are ray-finned fish in the genus Sardinella found in the Eastern Indian Ocean and in the Western Pacific Ocean, in the area that stretches from southern Japan through the Malay Archipelago to the western Australia.[
