Variegated Lizardfish - Synodus variegatus
The Variegated Lizardfish - Synodus variegatus is also known as Reef Lizardfish.
They are usually gray to brown to red with about 6 blotchy saddles; darkish stripe interspersed with pale blotches on mid-side, white stripe below interspersed with dark rectangular markings.

The variegated lizardfish is a lizardfish of the family Synodontidae found in the western Pacific and Indian Oceans, at depths from 4 to 90 m. It can reach a maximum length of 40 cm.
