A tiny skink gives me the stink-eye This little guy was no more than three inches long, including its tail, but it could still give me a dirty look and disappear in a flash into a rock crevice. I spotted it just as the morning was warming up, so it was still cool enough to hold its position for a couple of minutes as I set up and took photos. 1. LOL. How were conditions in that area? Crazy hot? Posted 8 years ago
      1. It was only pretty hot, not crazy hot. Maybe a high of 85 F or so. In the morning when I started hiking it was probably 60 F or so, which was not yet enough to make the local lizards happy. Posted 8 years ago
