Nudibranch - Verconia alboannulata This Nudibranch species Verconia alboannulata has a snynonym - Noumea alboannulata.<br />
The picture shows my little finger next to the Nudibranch, for size reference, length less than 1 cm but slim.<br />

This Nudibranch species Verconia alboannulata has a snynonym - Noumea alboannulata.

    1. Yes, and if you observed further, this is on the sandy/rubble bottom.
      We call this muck diving - in sandy and sea grass areas. Not many divers can appreciates diving in such areas as at a glance, there is nothing much and it lacks colours. However, if you know what to look for, you will start seeing lots of organism and many of them are very colourful, if you have lights on them.

        1. Yes, underwater photography in general is more challenging than on land and quite a few serious underwater photographers are going into extreme macro, with subjects as small as 1-2 mm! Posted 8 years ago
