CAP 2-35 (-60) mm broad, convex to plano-convex with incurved margin when young, becoming convexo-umbilicate to uplifted with age, moist, hygrophanous, striate, smooth, initially yellow to brown or green-yellow, becoming pale green-yellow with age or even off-white, color of margin yellow to green-yellow; with age the entire cap almost white.
