Miksicus acuminatus A Collage
This is one of two nice Cetoniinae I saw in Yogya's Taman Sari Water Castle. It seems to be Miksicus acuminatus (aka Urbania acuminatus) but I did not collect the specimen for genital examination and I'm no expert for these, let alone in that part of the world, so correction is always welcome. The other one is here:
Classification is a bit cumbersome on Cetoniinae as some workers will have them as a family Cetoniidae, others as Cetoniinae under Scarabaeidae.

Miksicus acuminatus (Fabricius, 1775) is a medium large (14,4-18,5mm) beetle in the subfamily Cetoniinae (somewhat related to the Rose Chafers from the northern hemisphere).
Other similar looking species might be Protaetia (Pseudourbania) pectoralis Mohnike, 1871 and P (P) guttulata Burmeister, 1842
