This is a mating pair of Phasmid of the sub-species Asceles margaritatus margaritatus.
The sub-species were created earlier this year in a book published in May 2016.
The other sub-species is Asceles margaritatus brevipennis (newly established)
The main difference between the 2 sub-species are :
1. Asceles margaritatus margaritatus are found on lowland and have full wings.
2. Asceles margaritatus brevipennis are found from highland (higher altitudes) with short wings.
