Pair of Sticks This is a mating pair of Phasmid of the sub-species Asceles margaritatus margaritatus.<br />
<br />
The sub-species were created earlier this year in a book published in May 2016.<br />
The other sub-species is Asceles margaritatus brevipennis (newly established)<br />
<br />
The main difference between the 2 sub-species are :<br />
1. Asceles margaritatus margaritatus are found on lowland and have full wings.<br />
