Skeletons of Green Turtles
This is a skeleton of a Green Turtle - Chelonia mydas found in an underwater cave in Sipadan Island, more fondly known as Turtle Tomb. The name catches on after a documentary named Turtle Tomb, describing and explaining how Green Turtles went to sleep in the cave but died of asphyxia or drowning when they could not find their way out of the caves immediately when they are 'out of air'.

The green sea turtle, also known as the green turtle, black turtle or Pacific green turtle, is a species of large sea turtle of the family Cheloniidae. It is the only species in the genus "Chelonia". Its range extends throughout tropical and subtropical seas around the world, with two distinct populations in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but it is also found in the Indian Ocean.
