Andersoni's Pipefish - Micrognathus andersonii

This Andersoni's Pipefish - Micrognathus andersonii has short snout, small thin skin flaps primarily on head; brown with several black-edged pale bars across back on upper side; tiny tail. Solitary and cryptic, inside crevies and among coral rubbles.
Like other Pipefishes, it is the males that brood the eggs.
