Remora on my head!
This male Green Turtle is a resident turtle at the dive site called Paradise 1 on Mabul Island. Most likely, he has been the same Green Turtle that I have been seeing the last 10 years that I have been going to Mabul Island. A few of them, hangs around on the artificial reef and props themselves on it lazily. Huge in size, around 1.5 meters.
Usually, the big marine animals have Remoras on them and this particular Remora has chosen to rest on top of the head of the Green Turtle.

The green sea turtle, also known as the green turtle, black turtle or Pacific green turtle, is a species of large sea turtle of the family Cheloniidae. It is the only species in the genus "Chelonia". Its range extends throughout tropical and subtropical seas around the world, with two distinct populations in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but it is also found in the Indian Ocean.
