
Nezara viridula Winter
Southern green stink bug (Nezara viridula) is one of the Pentatomid species that changes colour before finding a place to hibernate during winter. The darker brownish/purpleish helps to camouflage the animal in leaf litter or in bark crevices etc. The summer colour is bright green:
