    1. These are really awesome, a lot of the time they walk backward or half sideways or something. Also they cling onto other (flying) insects, often by the legs, to let themselves be transported to a new location. I have never had a chance to photograph that though. Here is nice image:

      Of course, technically these are not "insects" - that is, if you take the vernacular word "insect" to be the same as the current interpretation of the taxon Insecta, which is a rather silly thing to do, as the taxon has changed so much scientifically that most regular users of any language having a term like "insect" wouldn't have a proper idea of what's an insect(a) and what not anyway. In Linnaeus' time this would certainly have been an Insecta too, so hey .. :o)
