
Petrobius brevistylis Dorsolateral
Petrobius brevistylis mainly is found on rocky sea shores, although also known from a few locations more inland. Eyes big and round with shoe sole shaped ocelli under them. Colour pattern of the scales seems to be quite constant and distinctive.

Petrobius brevistylis is a jumping bristletail, a primitive insect that are mostly found on rocky shorelines.
