  1. the flower's inside is a little blurry, but I think this is a Poppy, and not the Poppy anemone. Poppy Anemone's stem is not so hairy, and it looks like this flower has black spots on the red petals - which occurs only on poppies, not on anemones. Posted 4 years ago

"Papaver rhoeas" is an annual herbaceous species of flowering plant in the poppy family Papaveraceae. It is notable as an agricultural weed. Especially in the Commonwealth, it is used a symbol of remembrance of the fallen soldiers and other military, during World War I and thereafter.
