
Crocozona coecias, Santa María, Colombia
Can be confused with Riodina lysippus, which also occurs in this area. Crocozona coecias seems to have the metal markings on the edges of the wing as seen in the photo, whilst Riodina lysippus has them within the orangle "circle".

Crocozona coecias is a butterfly in the Riodinidae (Metalmarks) family. It occurs in the Andes region of South America.
