Blue Tongue Adelaide 18 Nov 2016
Tiliqua nigrolutea - Blue Tongued Lizard - as in my back-yard, Magill, Adelaide, South Australia.
This individual popped out of the grass in front of me the other day with a suitor close at hand. Given their "stance" this one is female. She posed here for some tens of minutes with a warm Sun on a slightly cool morning.
Pentax67 200mm Lens, Canon EOS Body.

The blotched blue-tongued lizard, also known as the southern blue-tongued lizard or blotched blue-tongued skink is a blue-tongued skink endemic to south-eastern Australia.
