Paropsisterna variabilis Paropsisterna variabilis is an arid, desert beetle occurring in South Australia and New South Wales.  The elytra contain puncturation striae with black lines of variable thickness, sometimes broken and sometimes thick enough to join with the next line. Pronotum is smooth and unmarked. Paropsisterna variabilis is an arid, desert beetle occurring in South Australia and New South Wales.
