    This is most likely a Lady Amherst's x Golden Pheasant hybrid - Chrysolophus [amherstiae x pictus]. I would rather identify it as the Golden Pheasant where this hybrid is described than create a separate entry for it. Posted 8 years ago

The Golden Pheasant

The Golden Pheasant or "Chinese Pheasant", is a gamebird of the order Galliformes and the family Phasianidae. It is native to forests in mountainous areas of western China but feral populations have been established in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
