    I'm pretty sure the West Coast US Species is Sparassis radicata:
    The Western Cauliflower Mushroom. Sparassis crispa is found only in Europe to my knowledge. Books like Mushrooms Demystified and others are a bit behind on the updated info!     Posted 6 years ago
