
Cabbage Centre Grub (Hellula hydralis)
A small pale moth with a wing span of about 20 mm. Wings showed dark brown and fawn patterns. Antennae were swept back or the body. Legs were pale.
Spotted in a nature reserve - Churchill National Park.
The adult moth is said to have varied colour and pattern on the fore wings.

The Cabbage Centre Grub is a moth of the Crambidae family. It is found throughout Australia. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The larvae feed on "Brassica oleracea" and "Brassica napus".
