Crested Hawk Eagle
It is always good to get the any subject on ground and at eye level particularly. The raptors in particular is special as they are most often seen perched high up or gliding in the sky.
But getting one on ground is sheer luck unless you follow them regularly!
It was in the morning around 10 AM, the temperatures had already crossed the comfort zone. The bird activity was almost nil! And then we come across this powerful raptor resting on a ground under shade.Spent quality 5-10 minutes observing and photographing it!

The changeable hawk-eagle or crested hawk-eagle is a bird of prey species of the family Accipitridae. It was formerly placed in the genus "Spizaetus", but studies pointed to the group being paraphyletic resulting in the Old World members being placed in "Nisaetus" and separated from the New World species.
