This usually ends with me moving grass or other obstacles out of the way, at which point 90% of my subjects escape the scene. <br />
In this case I was surprised for the subject to not escape, only to realize it was the Exuvia of a Cicada, and not a live specimen. I still somewhat like the shot because it shows that none of the legs make contact with the leaf, only the jaw is attached.
