      you are right, ludosak, i've really talked to it. and surely we both had been shocked at the first moment. very, very slowly i kneed down and was able to take these pics . after a second time, i touched its head, it disappeard. Posted 13 years ago

The Slow worm

''Anguis fragilis'', or slow worm, slow-worm or slowworm, is a limbless reptile native to Eurasia. It is also sometimes referred to as the blindworm or blind worm, though the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds considers this to be incorrect.
