Cute & Cozy Pair of Phasmid of the species Ilocano hebardi, it is the only species under the genus of Ilocano.  The term Ilocano refers to the Ilocano tribe in North Luzon, Philippines where this species were first discovered.<br />

This species could possibly be the smallest Phasmid in the Philippines with the Female (the larger lighter brown colour) at 4cm and the Male (the smaller darker brown colour) at 3cm in size.<br />
<br />
This species has a similar characteristic i.e. the triangular shape/pattern at the end of the thorax compared to another endemic species, Tisamenus from Philippines. <br />
