        I think this bird is in a difficult position, not giving you a lot of room to change the angle. Overall I think the photo is a bit dark, you can change this in camera using "exposure compensation". Another tip is improving the composition. In this case the light part on the left is somewhat distracting, taking away attention from the main subject.

        Hope this helps. By the way, my guess is that this is a European Robin (roodborstje).

The European robin, known simply as the robin or robin redbreast in the British Isles, is a small insectivorous passerine bird that belongs to the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. It is found across Europe, east to Western Siberia and south to North Africa; it is sedentary in the west and south of its range, and migratory in the north and east of its range where winters are harsher.
