Seen around the garden of the Resort I was staying at, at night.
The security guard brought it to me, but it looks like the crab has put up a fight when the guard handled it and lost a claw :(

    1. Very observant of you, Ferdy.
      Its foaming, a defensive mechanism, I think.
      As I mentioned in my post, the security guard picked it up and brought it to me. So, there must have been some rough handling as the crab even lost a claw :(

''Cardisoma carnifex'' is a species of terrestrial crab found in coastal regions from the east coast of Africa and the Red Sea across the Indo-Pacific to the Line Islands and the Tuamotu Archipelago. The range includes parts of northern Australia and the Cocos Islands.
