Lost a Leg! This is a female Phasmid of the species Hermarchus pythonius.
Although already quite large in size around 12 cm, this one is still a nymph. Full adult size can be up to 20 cm or more.
She is all green in colour with spines on her thorax.
She has lost a leg which she is able to regenerate in her next moult, but the new leg will not be completely functional or as long as the original one as it may takes 2-3 moults before the new regenerated leg becomes functional.
