Its one of the smaller Birds of Prey at Eagle Encounters, Spier Wine Farm.<br />
They have a rehabilitation program and where possible, rehabilitated birds are released to the wild.<br />

      Based on distribution, it is more likely Greater Kestrel.

The Greater Kestrel or White-eyed Kestrel is a bird of prey belonging to the falcon family Falconidae. It is one of the largest kestrels and is found in open country in southern and eastern Africa.
