Rock Python - Python sebae

This Rock Python was slithering across the road, our guide stop the car and let it pass.
Was not able to get close-up pictures as we were not allowed to get out of the car.
This one was around 2.5 meters in length.
Rock Python is the largest Snake in Africa and ranked among the largest in the world, with reported record of up to 6 meters in length.

"Python sebae", commonly known as the African rock python, is a large, nonvenomous snake of Sub-Saharan Africa. The African rock python is one of seven species in the genus "Python". It has two subspecies: one found in Central and Western Africa, the other in Southern Africa.
