Male Leaf This is a male Leaf Insect, Phyllium philippinicum.<br />
He has full wings and is capable of short flights. Usually, the males will fly around to look for females when they are adults. The females are not capable of flight, thus, they have to wait for the males to pay them a visit :D Geotagged,Leaf Insect,Philippines,Phyllium,Phyllium philippinicum,Subic Bay,Summer,Walking Leaf Insect Click/tap to enlarge

    1. But they have to 'carry' the Males when they are having fun.
And in some of my posts of those species that continues to pair, the Females carries the Males for the rest of his life!

Phyllium philippinicum is a species of walking leaf insect and part of the order (Phasmatodea) which include stick insects. This is a perfect mimic of a leaf.
