Hairy Pink Squat Lobster

This Hairy Pink Squat Lobster grows up to 1.5 cm in carapace size and are only found on Giant Sponge Barrel Coral - Xestospongia testudinaria. They are hairy all over and their colour is pinkish/purplish.

      Yes, I have taken much better pictures of them with my previous Sony RX 100 camera before.
      And true, its not too difficult to find them as they will stay in the same Sponge Barrel for quite some time, unless they dies. Posted 8 years ago
