  1. I love this shot. The composition is perfect, showing both a closeup, as well as the full body and even some background. 4.3mm focal length, how did you do that? Posted 8 years ago
    1. Hmmm I'm not sure how the conversion works (this was taken with a point and shoot), but it's a 24 mm equivalent. Posted 8 years ago
  2. Beautiful record of this species, but not only... even greater the 'out-focus' that is seen, the block of limestone, and the man made limestone wall, that provide a great shelter, and a great hunting territory when needed, and a scarce but also present, in therms of plants or vegetation. After that, well, there's the main character, in a wild situation, beautifully exposed ;) And so close... well ;) Love it* Cheers Posted 8 years ago, modified 8 years ago
    1. Thanks very much for the kind words (ou melhor: muito obrigado)! Posted 8 years ago

"Tarentola mauritanica" is a species of gecko native to the Western Mediterranean region of Europe and North Africa and widely introduced to North America and Asia. It is commonly observed on walls in urban environments, mainly in warm coastal areas, though it can spread inland - especially in Spain.
