
Philautus kakipanjang is a medium-sized from found in western Sarawak. It differs from its congeners by a unique combination of morphological characters, including a long, acuminate snout, long legs, and comparatively extensive toe webbing.

And that's interesting to know that this Frog was only described in 2013!
Probably it looks like just a common Frog that it was overlooked before.
By the way, the name 'kakipanjang' means long legs. The English name is Long-legged Bush Frog :) Posted 8 years ago
