  1. I believe this is Philautus kakipanjang, which was only described in 2013. It is known from Kubah National Park near Kuching, among other places. Compare with the photos on <http://novataxa.blogspot.com/2015/06/2013-philautus-kakipanjang.html>. Posted 8 years ago
    1. Wow, John Sullivan, that is impressive!
Thanks for helping with the IDs.
And that's interesting to know that this Frog was only described in 2013!
Probably it looks like just a common Frog that it was overlooked before.
By the way, the name 'kakipanjang' means long legs. The English name is Long-legged Bush Frog :)

      1. There have been many frogs discovered in Borneo in recent years, and more all the time. I could not find another frog that looked particularly similar to this one, though I might have overlooked one of course. I think it is only recently that scientists have worked hard to identify all the frogs in Borneo.

I created the species record, so you should be able to identify this photo now.

        1. I googled it and looked up this reference :

          http://www.frogsofborneo.org/rhacophoridae/330-rhacophoridae/philautus/kakipanjang/261-philautuskakipanjang

Does it further confirms the ID of it?

          1. I did find that page but I neglected to include the link. That page is what first made me think this was the correct ID. Then I searched to find more info about this species. There isn't very much additional info online, but the appearance and location are both matches for your observation, and I could not find another Philautus species that looked so much like yours. 1. Great job, all the same, John Sullivan! :) Posted 8 years ago

Philautus kakipanjang is a medium-sized from found in western Sarawak. It differs from its congeners by a unique combination of morphological characters, including a long, acuminate snout, long legs, and comparatively extensive toe webbing.
