Rosenberg's Goanna Kangaroo Island
Varanus rosenbergi - Apparently the only goanna on Kangaroo Island.
I got lucky and stumbled upon this one as it was fast asleep on a sunny January afternoon. A fortuitous walk in the scrub in Hanson Bay - the goanna woke up pretty quickly and this is one of the photos.
