Sunda Flying Lemur
This Sunda Flying Lemur - Galeopterus variegatus are nocturnal creatures. They rest/sleep during the day, hugging to the tree trunks and are very well camouflaged. They usually go back to the same tree every morning, so its easier for the guide to locate them to show visitors doing day trips to the Park.
Although their name is Flying Lemur, they don't actually fly but 'glide' from tree to tree using the skin-flaps between the front and back legs.

The Sunda flying lemur is a species of colugo. Until recently, it was thought to be one of only two species of flying lemur, the other being the Philippine flying lemur which is found only in the Philippines. The Sunda flying lemur is found throughout Southeast Asia in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

They year before at the same National Park, I saw a Mother carrying a Baby on the same tree.
Am wondering if this could be the one-year old Baby. Posted 8 years ago
